Storage Details
Our minimum term for storage is 4 weeks from the date your vehicle enters Unit03, this can continue for as long as you wish, with an ongoing rolling contract until you decide to remove permanently.
During your vehicle’s stay, we will regularly inspect and check tyre pressures, fluid leakage and vehicle battery state. We can arrange servicing and RTA testing.
Battery conditioner chargers and indoor covers are also supplied. We strongly advise fitting a charger to ensure the condition and efficacy of the battery is maintained or a complete disconnect at your request.
We offer our vehicle exercise programme; your car will be started and run on a regular basis, therefore keeping it 'ready to go' for those moments when you want to use and enjoy it. This also serves to protect long storage cars from certain types mechanically perishing.
Access is available during working hours, Monday to Sunday by appointment only. Should you wish to temporally take your pride and joys out for a spin during its storage residence please allow a minimum of 24hrs notice before collection. This is so we can serve you and your car to the highest level.
We ask that vehicles enter Unit03 be clean and decontaminated of road or track dust. This is to maintain the cleanliness of the facility, but more importantly to make the entry inspection transparent and detailed to gain a true picture of the standard of your car.
Always consider that from April the heat of Dubai starts to build and we get fully booked usually in this month until the end the year. Make sure to not miss out and plan ahead and book your storage slot!
Pre-entry Preparation
Unit03 Terms & Conditions client contract is signed, Emirates ID and Car Registration are secured on file.
Full payment is received to book your residence and the entry date is confirmed…followed by:
Entry inspection, all points photographed and recorded.
For storage packages from 3 months + there is 1 x full flat and covered transporter truck available within the Dubai. We can collect /return to your home, work or track.
Keys are bag sealed and stored within the safe.
Interior protection applied to driver’s seat, steering wheel and footwell.
Carefully washed, dried and vacuumed - Unit03 TouchLess®️ Technique.
Engine fluid levels and battery health checked.
Tyre pressures increased for storage to prevent flat spotting.
Entry ‘micro- drive’ to remove any flash rust from the brake discs.
Access to ‘Client Cam’ at your request if you wished to see your car anytime, anywhere.
Soft breathable indoor cover is added.
Trickle charge added or battery disconnected.
Monthly engine exercise - fluids up to temp.
The Care Continues…
Once your vehicle has passed the induction process it is welcomed into the storage area and allocated its location.
Soft breathable indoor covers supplied.
Automatic battery conditioner applied to every vehicle (or your supplied option).
Daily checks – all storage areas inspected daily.
Every 7 days – battery charger status inspected.
Every 15 days – fluids and pressures checked, engine started, vehicle run up to temperature to lightly exercise mechanical and electrical components. Any defects noted and you are notified with suggested remedies and images.
Pre-handover Protocol
One of our main goals at Unit03 is to make car ownership hassle free and a pleasure. We aim for your vehicle to be in its best condition when it leaves the facility every time.
RTA registration checked.
Battery level checked.
Fluid levels checked.
Screen wash topped up.
Tyre pressures set.
Interior and exterior cleaned and checked.
Electronics checked - clock set etc.
Quality check carried out prior to hand over.
Complimentary door to door delivery or collection service if included in your monthly package choice.
More than just storage…Unit03 Auto Assist*
This is where we like to use the term ‘Car Concierge’. Each car and owner has their different needs, wants and desires. Those little car park dents with paintless dent removal, a curbed wheel, PPF, smart repairs, a refresh inside and out and even fault code diagnostics with the latest Launch software tools. If your car needs its renewal registration test we will take the car to our local RTA Tamam just 3 minutes away.
